Don't Cry Wolf...

Unless you know it's the real. And the new London-based brand Red By Wolves is definitely the real deal. Founded in 2007 this company boasts decent prices ($150 upwards), and amazing designs. Here are some of my current faves:

Alexa Wedges

Marika Brogues

Serena Heels

The Mirja Unisex Brogues

Return to Native Soil

Sources: tfs, fashiongonerogue, fashionsquad

Back in Canada! How does it feel? Fabulous! I'll miss my quirky roommate, the indian cuisine, and the energetic vibe that resonates throughout London. But overall I'm just happy to be back with the people I love.

Unfortunately my return to Canada is a little bitter-sweet, as my dream job at Victoire Boutique has been given away in my absence. They really needed someone and couldn't afford to wait. They still offered me a position when their next opening arose - but this may not be until October/November. At which time I'm very busy with school. In any case, we'll see - you have to live life day by day!

On the bright side more time for blogging! I'm headed up to my cottage tonight (after picking up my new car as my boyfriend crashed my old one while I was away). I will bring up some outfits with me and have some new personal style posts up (finally!) for you guys in the next few days. I'm excited to re-embrace the blogging community with open arms!

I hope you guys like my current inspiration photos. I love the new Marc Jacobs campaign - kind of represents how I feel at the moment in a bizarre way. I'm also inspired by the other photos of some of my favourite models, and just some fabulous street style in the instance of Daisy Lowe (white dress), and the girl outfitted in vintage from Berlin. Let me know if you guys find these photos equally inspiring!

Lots of love,

The more we get together, the happier we'll be...

...Because your friends are my friends, and my friends are your friends

I adore these super sweet friendship bracelets from Links of London. I worked for the brand yesterday and wore some of their fabulous couture pieces. These bracelets really stood out for me... like friends the more you have, the better they are! They look fabulous with a whole armload in contrasting shades.

The new ones they have come out with are even more fabulous. Cat Deeley worked with the brand to pick out some of the new colours. They also have a fabulous new style with little silver skulls all linked together with string. However, since these styles were just premiered yesterday I don't have any photos of them. I would have taken some snaps yesterday if it wasn't considered unprofessional to walk around acting like a model and photographer at the same time!

The bracelets remind me of coming back from summer break as a kid. This was always my favourite time of year... The kids in my city would always come back with loads of friendship bracelets from camps and fabulous summers spent in the sun having fun. These bracelets make me nostalgic and happy at the same time! Definitely a piece to consider investing in!

Miu Miu Perfection

Miu Miu's new fall campaign was released this week starring Lindsey Wixson, Siri Tollerod, Ginta Lapina and Daphne Groenveld. The campaign is beautifully shot, as are all the clothing. Though some of the pieces strike me as a little bit summery for autumn. Nonetheless a beautiful shoot - again running with the doll-like muse in terms of model. But does the new campaign compare with the spring/summer one featured below? I think that the much hyped spring/summer campaign will be hard for the company to top.

Perfection:

Hello all,
Just wanted to write a quick personal message as well to let all of you know that I will be home from the UK in 2 weeks. Once I'm back home I'll have more time for blogging, and more energy for creativity. Look forward to a lot more activity from Obsessed Fashion in the coming months :)

Lots of love,

Glastonbury Festival

Glastonbury Festival = a fashionista's dream come true. Being here in the UK this year I can't help to be even more enthralled than usual with the festival as it's happening in the vicinity. My friend did offer me tickets but unfortunately it was fairly last minute and would have been difficult to pull together. Still, how amazing would it have been to have been present at this festival? I could have snapped some of my own street style photos to show you all. Oh well, at least perusing style.com's archive of fashion photos allows me to live the experience second hand. Maybe next year!

Lots of love,

The Antics of a Shopaholic in London

This is a very, very dangerous town for a girl like me. The shopping here is by far the best I've ever experienced. So without further ado here are my purchases of the past three weeks:

Today's Outfit

New shirt - Bershka

New Blazer - H&M

New Shoes - Bershka

New shoes & socks - River Island

Purchases from here onwards are from Primark.
I'm planning on replacing the buttons on these shorts.

Lace flats

Outfits for my nieces

Hope you guys like some of new finds. I'm so sorry that I haven't been the most avid blogger since my journey over here - but life has been hectic! I will reform!

Lots of love,
K.xx

Shoe Fetish Nation

As a shoe addict I am naturally drawn to what other people are wearing on their feet. As such I have compiled a small selection of the top shoe trends here in London... many of the examples I have found are from Topshop, due to their having a fantastic website with pictures that I can easily take and post here. However, many of the versions I have seen on the street have been ten times cuter. In all honesty I find Topshop to be a little overpriced for the quality. I would recommend some of the smaller, personally owned boutiques that can be chanced upon throughout the city. I'm currently in the process of taking photos of some of these locales and will soon post a little review of some of my favourite boutiques for you, dear readers. Until then... here are the top styles being worn by East-End and Central Londoners:

Sandals:
Office

Topshop

Heels:
Topshop

Acne

Flats:
Aldo UK

Boots:
Topshop

Do the last ones remind you of anything???? How bout these puppies ? Unfortunately, mine are becoming ruined from walking in them so much. Unfortunately I didn't realize it would be quite so drafty over here and as such have not worn my sandals at all. My poor BCs are getting worn out so I really need to get a new pair asap. Mayhaps the brogues from Aldo?
Also, managed to lose my gorgeous blazer at a restaurant the other night. Any suggestions on where to look for a new one???

Thanks lovelies,
K.xx
