Back in Canada! How does it feel? Fabulous! I'll miss my quirky roommate, the indian cuisine, and the energetic vibe that resonates throughout London. But overall I'm just happy to be back with the people I love.

Unfortunately my return to Canada is a little bitter-sweet, as my dream job at Victoire Boutique has been given away in my absence. They really needed someone and couldn't afford to wait. They still offered me a position when their next opening arose - but this may not be until October/November. At which time I'm very busy with school. In any case, we'll see - you have to live life day by day!

On the bright side more time for blogging! I'm headed up to my cottage tonight (after picking up my new car as my boyfriend crashed my old one while I was away). I will bring up some outfits with me and have some new personal style posts up (finally!) for you guys in the next few days. I'm excited to re-embrace the blogging community with open arms!

I hope you guys like my current inspiration photos. I love the new Marc Jacobs campaign - kind of represents how I feel at the moment in a bizarre way. I'm also inspired by the other photos of some of my favourite models, and just some fabulous street style in the instance of Daisy Lowe (white dress), and the girl outfitted in vintage from Berlin. Let me know if you guys find these photos equally inspiring!

K is for Kors, and F is for Fur

So not that I don't already have some fur in my life (vest, coat) but I just don't have fur done like this. Exquisite! Nor may I mention do I have a sublime fur skirt or bag. Neccessary additions to every fall wardrobe... speaking of which, why is it that the shows must torture us with beautiful outfits and accessories and then make us wait months for the seasons to change so that we can actually don the stuff. I mean c'mon... I finally endured the long, cold Canadian winter and now Micheal Kors has to make me crave fall again with fabulous combinations such as the above? Really, really unfair.

Karlie Kloss - Teen Vogue

So I'd have to say every shoot I see this girl in just makes me love her more.... she seems to flow effortlessly from high fashion to more commercial editorials like this one. I adore the grey Alexander Wang dress (thanks Skeleta and Sky Pies!) she's wearing with the leather (or possibly suede?) shoulder pads and cut-outs.... I saw this one in I-D recently as well and if if I can find a similar version, in a lower price range, that puppy is mine in 30 seconds flat!!!

Model Obsession of the Month: Karlie Kloss

So I've been gradually building a small obsession with this girl since I first noticed her in the Marc Jacobs fragance campaign.... What really cemented this into a full-fledged 'girl crush' (for lack of a better term), was style.com's epic ping pong match featuring the same Ms. Kloss. Karlie seems so approachable, and doesn't appear to have sold out to the glamour and glitz that can so often change a young model's very character. Can't wait to see what else is in store for Karlie in the upcoming months and years!
