Barnyard Love

I am obsessed with these photos from the May Issue of Vogue Nippon. I love these photos for a variety of reasons.... first and foremost: the animals. I am a huge animal fan and barn lover, though admittedly of mostly an equine variety. But still, I love the mix of high fashion and high interior design mixed with the grungy farm yard vibe. Kind of in the same way that I love the mix of high and low fashion (cheap and high prices, casual and dressy pieces).
Secondly, I love the styling. The pieces are fantastic and are combined in a really eclectic and interesting way. My favourite of the photos is the one where she is wearing the black cut out dress... I WANT that dress. Or at least a knock-off version thankyouverymuch.
Lastly, I also love this shoot because Edita Vilkeviciute looks fabulous in each photo. She really nails the mood of the shoot. And that lilac lip colour on her? Fabulous.
All in all this shoot is what my dreams are made of. I want to live in this world please and thank you.

With love,
K.xx

  1. Hey, in response to your comment on my blog - I don't live in London, and haven't been there for 5 years, so I can't offer much advice! My favourite part of London is Camden, but that's more for the atmosphere, although the market is definitely worth a look. Hope you enjoy your trip! x
